UT San Antonio is proud to offer fully online degree and certificate programs that provide a way for students to reach their educational goals without ever having to step foot on campus. UT San Antonio Online (formerly UTSA Online and Online Programs) remains on a mission to serve our local and national community by offering the same quality degree programs as our residential campus. These Online Programs should not be confused with other internet-based courses provided by the residential campus, which are traditional classes offered remotely but not through UT San Antonio Online. Residential programs, including those that offer internet-based courses, are funded, priced, and supported differently than our 100% online programs.
Tuition, Fees, and Financial Aid Options
Whether our students are in-state or out-of-state, our 100% online students enjoy the same price per unit, and students have numerous financial aid and payment options available, including military benefits, scholarships, etc.
Note: Students who are enrolled only in a certificate program are not eligible to use financial aid or Veterans Administration educational benefits.

Students enrolled in an online degree program will follow the same institutional requirements to complete a bachelor’s degree as defined in this catalog, which include:
Term Options
UT San Antonio Online classes are offered in a mix of term lengths:
- Fall/Spring Terms: 8-week and 16-week
- Summer Terms: 4-week, 5-week, 8-week, and 10-week
Students may be able to choose any combination of class lengths based on availability and the number of credits being taken at any given time but must still adhere to the semester credit hour limits in the UT San Antonio Student Policies.
